It is ideal for systems that use distributed power architectures (DPA), especially in computing, storage, networking and datacom, and provides colocation centers with a very flexible means of addressing their evolving power needs. The DS460SDC-3 accepts a 40–72 Vdc input and is pin-for-pin compatible with Artesyn Embedded Technologies' AC-input DS460S-3 bulk front end power supply, enabling users to switch easily from an AC to a DC supply infrastructure.
